Soil pollution Soil pollution occurs when subtances are released into the soil. Causes of soil pollution -Rubbish    When rubbish is dumped on land,the soil is pollutedand they seep into the soil. -Harmful chemicals from farms    Excessive in farms can pollute the soil.
