Yeast experiment

On Unit 3,Cell Division, we are doing an experiment about yeast on how they bud.There are flask A and flask B.On flask A we add yeast and hot water only. On flask B we added yeast ,hot water and sugar.We placed balloons on top of the flasks.On flask A the balloon  inflate a bit.On flask B, the balloon inflates bigger.I concluded that the yeast needed energy to bud.When it buds, carbon dioxides are released.The balloon soon inflates bigger.It was a very great experiment in the science lab.
